CA dont launch with AOE2DE#90

CA launch only but crash with AOE2DE. The message is : Failed to create rendering context this can be caused by a compatibility issue with system hardware or drivers.

My PC :

• AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
• AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
• 32 Go DDR4
• Display 34’’ 21/9
• Windows 10

Version AOE2DE : 101.101.56005.0 7694700
Version CaptureAge : 1.4.12

Hey, my first suggestion would be to try one of the windows compatability options, also please keep in mind the gamepass version is not currently supported if you are using that. If that doesn’t work for you please contact me on discord SirLaurenceNZ#5028 or email us at: support@captureage.com
Where you can send send us your CA log files directly for your privacy.

Hi, where is the logs please ? “debug.log” contains only

[1202/192007.385:ERROR:crash_report_database_win.cc(469)] failed to stat report
[1202/192747.812:ERROR:settings.cc(325)] Settings version is not 1

Here’s how you find the logfile, apologies I missed the notification!

Find your logfile by putting %APPDATA%\CaptureAge\logs into your File Explorer’s address bar (to the left of the Search box).
Only send log files to developers, as they may contain some personal information (which all falls under CA’s privacy policy - https://captureage.com/privacy).
