my game runs perfectly well, but when i run CA, it is extremely laggy if i see it thru CA, like not using the grafics card.
i have a widescreen 27’’ monitor that duplicates laptop display
my grafics card is NVDIA 1060 GTX , 8 GB
my laptop MSI gaming apachePro 16 GB ram, 17.3 ‘’

are you using a fast ssd?

HFS128G39MNC
128GB MLC SATA 6Gbps M.2 2280 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
yes to SSD - not sure if fast

It sounds like that is your boot drive, have you installed the game and capture age on it? Personally I’d look to buy a bigger capacity, faster SSD as capture age loads the game files from your disk space and smaller ssds have reduced speeds and you could be running short on size

I would suggest checking whehther it is running on intergrated graphics in that case: https://www.howtogeek.com/351522/how-to-choose-which-gpu-a-game-uses-on-windows-10/
Another potential case is running CA on a 4k monitor? my 1060 struggles on anything beyond 1440p for CA.
(Especially without small trees)
in which case you can either lower the resolution of your monitor or run CA in windowed mode.
