Have player and speed correct at start#187

What I despise a bit is that going through multiple reviews, I always want to be the blue guy… Now, it should be easy to have MY player name in the configuration and make it that it always selects me as main player, blue, and viewpoint on me.

A bit related would be that I’d love to have full speed from start on (configurable I guess) because I often start the review, then everything takes a lot of time (30s-1min) but I want to go away, have coffee/pee, and then come back and replay is loaded and I can jump anywhere in time.

Maybe that would be easy to do, I’d love it!

I’m not sure if i understood your second point correctly. But what i gather, you want to be able to jump to any point in the game using a timeline? That is a feature that has already been implemented in CA:DE Pro. To open the timeline there is a button next to the minimap on the bottom, on the right side of it.

The first point could be a relatively simple and nice quality of life feature, although personally i probably wouldn’t be using it.

It’s even simpler. I can jump right now everywhere, true, but the game needs to have run through.

I just basically want that I start a replay and it auto-selects:

• me as blue player (and as currently observed player)
• playback speed to max

So if I start the replay, I can during loadup time go to the restroom and when I come back the right player (me) is selected, it’s blue, and as much as possible of the game is already gone through.

Kind of like a default speed setting. Currently it’s 1x, I want max.

I know, pretty individual wish but maybe also super easy to implement…
