Capture age not working#171

I discovered that Capture Age is not working, I load a recorded game, and nothing happens, stays at the begining. If I quit that game, and in caputre age’s app choose other game, not even start, it continues in the menu. The UI is working… if I make mouse over different buttons, or interactions, it works, menus are showing, descriptions, the button works, but just UI, nothing happens, no functionability, not play, no changes. can’t move the map.

@Tupac Palomeque This is an issue with the renderer failing to start. If your device has integrated and dedicated graphics, ensure the dedicated graphics are being used for CA:DE, otherwise depending on which specific integrated graphics you have they may not work.

If the issue persists, please send us an e-mail to support@captureage.com with the following information:

  • CA:DE Logfile - Find your logfiles by putting %APPDATA%\CaptureAge\logs into your File Explorer’s address bar (to the left of the Search box). If you haven’t experienced your current issue before, also see if there are any old log files and include those.

  • DxDiag: Create this file by pressing the Windows key button, typing dxdiag, and then the enter key.
    The DirectX Diagnostic Tool window will open.
    Wait for the information summary to finish (as indicated by the progress bar to the bottom). then click Save All Information, save the file with your username in it (i.e DxDiag(Username).txt)

  • Footage: Screenshots, screencasts, or even phone videos will help us gain more context for troubleshooting your issue. Having task manager information can also be helpful
