all replays incompatible#122

since recent patch all replays are now incompatible with aoe2 version but both are current on updates. can not access any replays at this time

Hey, it’s quite common for replays to be broken between Patches. If you want to watch older replays you’ll need to setup an older version of the game (If it’s a recent patch CaptureAge will often work with an earlier AoE2DE version). You can find tutorials on how to setup old versions of the game for these purposes online if you’re needing to watch a specific rec!

Replays becoming incompatible in the game is fairly common, as Laurence said. There are sometimes instances where CaptureAge will not parse new replay files correctly, but we work to fix those issues as they come up.
