Range indicator hotkeys#110

Currently we have two global settings, one for showing range circles for buildings, and another for showing range zones for selection.

I’m guessing these being on the entire time might be useful during analysis, but the effect produces a lot of visual clutter/interference which isn’t nice during live games.

This is accentuated by my wish to select all the military units onscreen during fights so that the viewer can compare the army compositions and relative HP etc in the information box in the lower left. As it stands it’s all or nothing when it comes to range indicators and with them on, it just becomes too much, so I turn the setting off when I’m observing games.

However, I do feel that there could be some great times to see it, such as when units are approaching a woodline, mangonel approaching a group of units etc so I would be interested in having it available as a contextual tool for selected unit(s).

For buildings, I would suggest adding a straight on/off toggle hotkey so that I can put it on if I want for a while if I want. When entering into a game, default it to whatever is the global setting, but allow me to change it for this current game using a hotkey.

For units, have a tab-like toggle for showing it for the currently selected unit(s) while held. Have this ignore the global setting - I would have global ‘off’ but occasionally toggle it on for the circumstances mentioned above.

These are currently set as Alt + Q and cycle between modes including off. Changes to how that works would probably be tied in with more general hotkey changes at some point.
